Looking to make holiday gifts with those bags and tins of Mac nuts? Found this Mac nut macaron recipe from an old Tea Time magazine, July/August 2014. Note the 5 hour prep time. (I've taken a French macaron cooking class and boy is this a tedious and temperamental cookie to make from scratch. With a little practice though you'll be rolling out the cookies in no time.)
